Web part overview
My Apps web part allows you to select and display the applications that you centralize via Jint on your SharePoint pages. Display user's favorite applications or the business applications of your space to provide quick access to all your applications.
With advanced customization features, you can seamlessly integrate the web part into beautifully designed pages with Jint!
User functionality
Display your applications with My Apps web part and open them with a simple click.
The carousel allows you to scroll through your applications to make sure you can see them all.
You have the choice between two visuals for your applications:
- Normal, with the name of the application visual
- Large, with a larger icon and the name of the application visible when hovering over the application
Use cases
My Apps web part can be used to display:
- The most important corporate applications on the home page of the Digital Workplace
- HR applications on the HR portal of the Digital Workplace
- Business applications on the internal department portal
- User's favorite applications on his internal dashboard
Technical notes
My Apps displays your list of applications configured in Jint. To learn more about application settings, see the Application List article.
Applications are audience-targeted when the page is in read mode. Therefore, you only see the applications that concern you. However, you see all available applications when you are in edit mode on the SharePoint page.
Add the web part
- Open the edit mode of the SharePoint page by clicking on edit at the top right of the page,
- Position the mouse over or under an existing web part, and click the "+" button to open the web part catalog.
- Search or scroll down in the catalog to select My Apps Web part in the category "Text, media and content".
- The web part is added to the desired location.
Setting up the web part
There are 3 categories of settings available for the "My Apps" web part:
- Layout
- Content settings
- Display

Content Settings
The options in the Content Settings section allow you to define the applications displayed in the web part.

Navigation
Navigation allows you to apply a filter to the displayed applications
- All applications: Displays all applications without applying filters
- Favorites: Displays only the applications that have been marked as favorites in the Unified Experience
- Application of one or more categories: Selecting this option brings up a button to choose the filters to apply to the applications. The available filters are the different categories of applications set up in the Jint configurator.
Display
The Display section contains several settings that influence the appearance of the web part as well as the displayed applications.
- Card size: You can choose the size of the cards displaying the applications
- Internal margin: Activating this position allows you to activate a fixed internal margin (padding) on the web part container
- Image or color: In this subsection, you can define the background color or image at specific locations of the web part.

- Web Part: The settings in this tab influence the background of the web part as a whole. You can choose to add a background image or a background color. Note that this tab is only available when the option to activate the internal margin to the web part is enabled.

- Card: Selecting a color in this tab allows you to add it as a background to each application's card.

- Icon: Selecting a color in this tab allows you to add it as a background to the icons inside each application's card.
