Widget overview

The Focus widget takes the form of a frame that contains a background image, text and an action button. It allows the user to highlight important information in an appealing design.

A new version of this widget is now available: FocusBeta.

User functionality

The Focus widget enables the contributor to broadcast important information to users by creating a frame with an image, text, display tags, and a call-to-action button. The user can read the information on the widget and click the button to be redirected to another site.

Use cases

The Focus widget enables to: 

• Broadcast important information to users ;
• Enhance the workspace design by adding a background image and content image ;
• Display event invitations for employees. Guide users to the right information with an action button.

Widget configuration

The settings are the following: 

• Background
• Title
• Chapo
• Category
• CTA
• Alignment
• Button at bottom

• Background : to choose the background of the widget, it can be either a color or an image (from a URL).

• Title : define the title of your widget and customize it (writing style, size, and color).

• Chapo : write the body text of the widget.

• Categories : highlights a category in a box above the title.

• CTA : allows for a customizable (text) clickable button that redirects to a direct link.

• Alignment : allows to choose the text alignment within the widget (right, center, left, or justified).

• Button at bottom : to set the button placement (under the text or beside it when the widget is wide).
