Widget overview
The employee directory widget lets you search for and view the profiles of your colleagues. By simply searching for and identifying the right people to work with, Digital Workplace users can collaborate more effectively. It also creates social links, with the possibility of consulting colleagues' personal information, in the manner of a social network.
User functionality
The employee directory widget enables your users to search for and view the profiles of their colleagues. This powerful search tool allows you to search and filter by position and department.
It offers a search experience that can be customized to suit your users' needs:
- Search in the Entra ID directory (formerly Azure Active Directory)
- Contextualize the scope of the research so as to search only among Azure groups
- You can also filter using a custom query
- By clicking on the 3 little dots or the profile, you can contact the employee via Teams or send them an email
By clicking on the profile, you'll find the employee's portrait, as well as information on their position and department, and their position in the organization chart. You'll have access to buttons to facilitate contact, whether via Teams or e-mail.
