File Explorer Widget: Direct Access to Your Key Documents

The File Explorer widget lets you feature documents and folders from your OneDrive or SharePoint directly on your intranet. It simplifies access to information, saving your employees from having to navigate through complex folder structures. What's more, your team can access content and navigate directly from the widget itself.
 

Why use it?

• Saves time: Essential documents (forms, policies, guides) can be found with a single click.
• Control: You decide exactly which files or folders are displayed and which ones employees can navigate.

Prerequisites and Configuration

The widget requires the Sites.ReadWrite.All permission to function. If nothing is showing up, check that this permission has been approved.

To add the widget:

1. Switch the page to edit mode.
2. Click the + button, then select the "File Explorer" component.
3. Configure the source (SharePoint or OneDrive) and the specific folder you want to display.

Title Customize or hide the title.

Results Source

• One Drive: The widget directly displays your OneDrive file explorer, allowing your team to navigate directly from the Jint for Teams widget.
• SharePoint:
