Once this information is completed, you can add an icon for your application. You have two options depending on your needs:

 

Option 1: Use an Icon Found on the Internet

You can search for an image using a search engine like Google. Make sure the image meets the following criteria:

• Format: SVG.
• Dimensions: 32x32 pixels.

Once you find the image, copy its URL link and paste it directly into the "File Path" field. This method is ideal if you do not have an internal image library.

 

Option 2: Use an Image Already Available on SharePoint

If the icon is already stored in your SharePoint environment:

1. Go to the SharePoint folder containing the icon.
2. Click Details to view its properties.
3. Copy the exact image path.
4. Paste this link into the "File Path" field.

If you wish to update the icon of an application that was added before January 2026, please ensure that the application’s URL meets one of the following conditions: 

• Must be in HTTPS format;
• Or of type mailto.

Indeed, it is no longer possible to add or update applications whose URL does not meet one of these conditions.
