2. Sending Options
From the sending screen, you have three primary options for delivery.
Send a Test Mail
Before a final send, it is highly recommended to send a test email. This allows you to review the newsletter one last time in your own inbox to check for formatting, spelling, and link issues. You can send the test to yourself or a colleague.
Send Now
When you are ready to send the newsletter immediately, click the "Send" button. You will be asked to confirm this action. Once confirmed, the sending process begins and cannot be canceled.
Schedule a Newsletter
This feature allows you to plan your communications in advance.
- Enable the "Scheduled Newsletter" toggle.
- Choose the desired date and time for the delivery.
- Click the "Schedule" button. The newsletter will be sent automatically at the configured time.
💡 Need to make a change? If you need to edit the content or change the scheduled time after scheduling, you can find the newsletter on the homepage and use the Unschedule action. This will return it to a draft state, ready for your edits.
3. Managing Your Newsletters from the Homepage
The Newsletter Studio homepage provides a complete overview of all your newsletters and allows you to manage them based on their status.
Understanding Newsletter Statuses
The lifecycle of a newsletter is tracked with several statuses:
- Draft: Your newsletter is in creation or has been saved to be worked on later.
- Scheduled: The newsletter is configured to be sent at a specific future date and time.
- Sending: The newsletter is currently being delivered to your recipients.
- Sent: The newsletter has been successfully sent to all recipients.
- Processing Failed: A temporary issue occurred before the sending process began. A Retry action will be available.
- Failed: The sending process could not be completed. Check the detailed error report to identify the cause.
Available Actions
Several actions are available from the homepage to manage your newsletters:
- Duplicate: You can duplicate any newsletter at any time. This is useful for creating a new campaign based on a previous design, saving you time.
- Delete: You can delete newsletters that are in Draft status to keep your workspace clean.
- Unschedule: This action is only available for newsletters in Scheduled status. It will revert the newsletter to a Draft, allowing you to make edits before rescheduling it.
- Retry: If a newsletter is in the Processing Failed status, you can use this action to attempt the send again. If the failure persists, please open a support ticket.
