Widget overview
The Navigation widget contains essential links provided by the company to assist users in navigating to the right pages.
User functionality
The Navigation widget enables you to access important links of your company easily and quickly. Save time by avoiding the search; they have been pre-defined for you and appear in this widget.
Use cases
This widget is useful for:
- Creating a unified navigation for company websites ;
- Facilitating onboarding for new employees with relevant information.
Widget configuration
There is no directly accessible configuration in Jint Mobile App for the Navigation widget. To display the desired links, the company must define in the Jint Configurator (in the Unified Experience section) which links it wants to configure for its enterprise. It can define each chosen site based on its audience (the groups of people who will see the link).
By clicking on a pre-configured link, you can modify, delete, or change its position.
To configure a new link, click on the "Add link" button, and a modal will open:
You can then:
- Add a link with a title and an associated URL ;
- Choose whether to open this link in a new tab or not ;
- Enable or disable modern audiences and choose the relevant audiences.
Modern Audiences is a Microsoft feature that allows you to target your content to a specific population using user groups within your organization created in your Office 365 solution.
Audiences ensure that links are only displayed to a user if they are part of groups defined as the site's audience. This enables the display of relevant links for each population.
Refer to the Microsoft documentation on Modern Audiences for more information.
