This article describes the "On the same subject" WebPart component that allows you to highlight content.
Add the web part
- Open the edit mode of the SharePoint page by clicking on edit at the top right of the page,
- Position the mouse over or under an existing web part, and click the "+" button to open the web part catalog.
- Search or scroll down in the catalog to select the On the same subject web part
- The web part is added to the desired location.
On the same subject web part options
The following items can be set:
- Scope: whether to pull up the contents of all site collections or just the current site.
- Categorization:
- The field to use to do the grouping.
- The type of item to be brought up (Pages and/or Documents).
- Display:
- The maximum number of items to display.
- See the "more results" button at the bottom of WebPart
- The display of the tags.
- Display the borders
- Choose the background color according to the themes.
- Choose the contact of the page (hide, author, modified by or a custom field).
- Choose the date of the page (hide, creation date, modification date or a custom field).
- Themes: The visuals available for this component.
In order to associate a field with the Web Part, it must be of the managed metadata type (one or more values) and be added to the site columns as well as to the site page library. This Web Part is intended to be present almost systematically on the pages, it can be very useful to create a model page and then copy it so as not to have to set it up each time.
