Presentation of the component

This article describes the "Message bar" WebPart component that allows you to display the Message Bar WebPart, which allows you to display a message that may have a different appearance in order to highlight it on the page.

Add the web part

1. Open the edit mode of the SharePoint page by clicking on edit at the top right of the page,

2. Position the mouse over or under an existing web part, and click the "+" button to open the web part catalog. 

3. Search or scroll down in the catalog to select the Message bar web part

4. The web part is added to the desired location. 

Message bar web part options

The message bar WebPart, allows to display a message under different aspect using the configuration panel:

• Success
• Information
• Warning
• Severe warning
• Error

The text of the message is to be filled in directly in the WebPart.
