Web part overview
This article describes the "Syntax highlighter" web part that allows you to format code on the page. This is very useful for tutorials, installation documentations and technical guides.
The supported languages are:

Adding the web part
Open the edit mode of the SharePoint page by clicking on edit at the top right of the page.
- Position the mouse above or under an existing web part, and click the "+" button to open the web part catalog.
- Search or scroll down in the catalog to select the Syntax highlighter web part in the category "Text, media and content".
The web part is added to the desired location.
Web part settings
From the parameters of this component, you can:
- Choose the language.
Note: that the option to display the number of lines is no longer functional, and the toggle has no effect.
