This article describes the "My Documents" web part, which allows you to display your recent documents from your OneDrive and SharePoint sites.
Web part prerequisites
The "My Documents" web part requires extended delegated permissions to function. It uses the following permissions:
- Sites.ReadWrite.All
To approve permission requests, please refer to the following article: Permission approval.
If the component returns no results, it is likely that permissions have not been granted during installation.
Adding the web part
Open the edit mode of the SharePoint page by clicking on edit at the top right of the page.
Position the mouse above or under an existing web part, and click the "+" button to open the web part catalog.
Search or scroll down in the catalog to select the My documents web part in the category "Documents, lists and libraries".
The web part is added to the desired location.

The following elements can be configured:
- Number of items to display
- Show/Hide the "See more results" button
- The choice of web part layout
