Webpart overview
This article describes the "Banner" Web Part which allows you to display one or more banners.
A banner is composed of a Title, a Logo, a Background, a Title, and a Link.
Add the component
- Open the edit mode of the SharePoint page by clicking on edit at the top right of the page,
- Open the component catalog by hovering the mouse over a desired location and select the "+" button,
Search or scroll down in the catalog to select the Web Part "Banner".
- The component is added to the desired location.
WebPart options
Configuration of the contributor panel:
- Modify the height of the banners (the elements remain centered)
- Change the maximum number of items in the carousel
- Display additional details in carousel mode
- Define multiple banners to be displayed in carousel
Access to the configuration of the link and the display of the banner from the Web Part on the page by clicking on "Add".
Element configuration panel on the Web Part:
- The logo must be stored in SharePoint. The URL to provide corresponds to the path leading to the file.
To retrieve this path, simply navigate to the folder where the logo is stored, then click Details in the file settings. You will then see the path displayed at the bottom of the Details panel. - Every element except the background is optional
- The background can be a gradient or a solid color
- Define the element: Title, Logo, Background, Title
- A link can be added on a banner

Example of layout
There is only one visual for this component, but you can adapt it to your needs by changing the colors, borders or applying gradients.
