1. Retrieving the Necessary Information
1.1 Have an Entra ID Administrator Account (Azure AD)
You must have an Entra ID administrator account.
This account will have administrator access to MODA, which is the technical foundation of the Jint App mobile.
This administrator will later be able to add other administrators.
1.2 Connecting to Entra ID
Log in with your Microsoft 365 account via the following link: Entra ID
1.3 Retrieving Entra ID Administrator Information
For the administrator account that will perform the installation, retrieve the following information:
Object ID (of the administrator user)
User Principal Name (UPN)
Procedure:
Log in to Entra ID.
Search for the relevant administrator account.
Click on this account to open its profile.
-
You will find:
the Object ID (of the administrator user)
the User Principal Name.
1.4 Retrieving Tenant Information
Two pieces of information are necessary:
a. Client ID (Tenant ID)
Access the overview of your tenant via the following link: Azure
In the interface, the tenant identifier is called “Client ID”.
b. Initial Tenant Name (Primary Domain)
Go to the “Custom domain names” menu via the link: Azure
Look for the entry ending with “.onmicrosoft.com” (you can use the filter bar).
The initial name of your tenant corresponds to the part located before “.onmicrosoft.com”.
2. Installation of the Solution by the Jint Teams
After sending this information to the Jint team, we can now proceed with activating the Jint App Mobile solution in your environment.
3. Configuration: Access and Permissions
Access to the Configurator
Access the Jint Configurator: https://config.jint.io/
Make sure to log in with your Entra ID administrator account in order to validate the various permissions. This account must also have Global Administrator and Mobile Administrator rights on the Configurator.
Warning : the Mobile App Administrator right is mandatory to be able to see the Mobile Application tab.Go to the Mobile Application tab.
A pop-up should open and ask you to validate the permissions necessary for the proper functioning of the mobile application.
3.1 Authorize the Application for the Administrator Account
For proper operation, the Jint App mobile requires granting specific permissions.
Accept the permission requests at this step.
This first set of permissions authorizes the operation of an external application.
3.2 Authorize the Application for the Organization
Without permission validation, the application will not be able to access the necessary information for the proper functioning of user features.
The associated functions will therefore not work correctly.
🔐 Data Security
Jint does not store any sensitive data such as:
emails
news
tasks
user names
Only application configuration data is retained.
4. Access Verification
Grant Access to Other Jint Mobile App Administrators
Access the configurator via the following link: Jint Configurator
Go to the Users tab.
Add rights to other administrator users.
5. Application Settings
The configuration of the Jint App mobile is done from the Mobile Application tab of the Jint Configurator.
6. Installation on User Devices
Once the configuration is finalized and validated, the Jint App mobile can be installed on user devices according to the procedures defined for your organization.
