If you cannot access the Contribution Center, there are two main causes to check:
your account has not yet been added by an administrator among the authorized users, or a consent issue with the Configurator application
prevents you from even completing this step.
Summary
- Verify that your account is authorized
-
What to do if a purple button "Update your Configurator permissions"
appears? - Contact Jint as a last resort
1. Verify that your account is authorized
Access to the Contribution Center is managed from the Jint Configurator. A
Global Jint Administrator must explicitly add authorized users or groups there.
To check or modify this list:
1. Log in to the Jint Configurator: https://config.jint.io/
2. In the left menu, click Contribution Center.
3. Verify that your name or your group appears in the field
"Select the users and groups who will access the Jint Contribution Center."
4. If not, add the relevant user or group, then
save.
💡 Only a user with access to the Configurator with Global administrator rights can perform
this operation.
2. What to do if a purple button "Update your Configurator permissions"
appears?
If, instead of the user list, you see a purple button labeled
"Update your Configurator permissions," this indicates a consent issue
with the Configurator application. This usually happens
when consent was granted only for an administrator account,
and not for the entire tenant.
Step 1 — Click the button to send an approval request
First, click this button. This sends an approval request to the tenant’s Entra ID administrator, who can then validate
consent for the entire organization.
⚠️ If the Entra ID administrator does not receive any approval request,
this means this type of request is not enabled on your tenant.
Proceed to the next step.
Step 2 — The Entra ID administrator logs into the Configurator themselves
If no request is sent, the Entra ID administrator must log in
directly to the Jint Configurator (config.jint.io) and click the
purple button themselves to update permissions for the entire tenant.
⚠️ This operation requires global administrator rights on the Jint Configurator.
Step 3 — If the administrator does not have access to the Configurator
If the Entra ID administrator does not have access to the Configurator, they must
follow the consent reset procedure via My Applications:
1. Go to https://myapplications.microsoft.com.
2. Click the three dots next to the Configurator application.
3. Select Revoke consent.
4. During the new request, check the option to grant rights
to the entire tenant.
⚠️ Only Entra ID administrators can perform this operation.
Global Jint administrators who are not Entra ID administrators
cannot update these permissions.
3. Contact Jint as a last resort
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Jint support so we can manually assign the necessary rights. This intervention is performed as an exception and requires a processing time of 2 to 4 business days.
To expedite handling, please include in your message:
- The name and email address of the relevant Entra ID administrator,
- The steps already taken.
You can write to us via our contact form.
