Jint AI is a conversational assistant available directly in your intranet. You write to it like you would to a colleague, and it answers. Nothing to install, no account to create: if Jint AI appears in your sidebar, it is ready to use.
What you can do right now
Write and rephrase
Internal announcements, emails, meeting notes, tone adjustments.
"Write a 5-line internal announcement about the new remote work policy, clear and direct tone."
Translate
A text, an announcement, a message — into the language of your choice.
"Translate this text into English and Spanish, keeping a professional tone."
Summarise and analyse a PDF
Attach a document to the conversation, then ask your questions about it.
"Summarise this document in 5 points, and list what applies to managers."
Dictate instead of typing
Click the microphone and speak: your message is transcribed into the input box.
Search the web
Enable web access from the tools menu to get answers backed by online sources, with the links cited.
"What are the mandatory workplace notices employers must display in France?"
Your conversations are kept in the left-hand panel: you can pick them up later, or delete them.
Good to know
- Documents: PDF only, 15 pages maximum, 5 files maximum per message. The document content is not retained after the conversation.
- Web access: to be enabled from the tools menu.
- Usage volume: each user has a daily allowance. If you reach it, the assistant tells you in the conversation; it resets the next day.
- History: when you reopen a conversation, you get the text of the exchange back, but not the attachments or the cited sources.
- The assistant can get things wrong. Check important information before reusing it.
Freemium or Standard: what changes for you
Jint AI comes in two versions. Search across your organisation's SharePoint documents is only available with a Standard deployment.
| Freemium | Standard | |
|---|---|---|
| Write, rephrase, translate, summarise | ✅ | ✅ |
| Analyse a PDF you attach | ✅ | ✅ |
| Dictate, search the web | ✅ | ✅ |
| Answer from your organisation's SharePoint documents, citing its sources | ❌ | ✅ |
| Most advanced AI models | ❌ | ✅ |
In the Freemium version, the assistant has no access to your organisation's content. It cannot retrieve an HR policy, an internal procedure or a project document — there is no point asking it where a given document is. This is not a setting to switch on: SharePoint semantic search requires the AI infrastructure to be deployed inside your organisation's Microsoft tenant, which is precisely what a Standard deployment does.
With a Standard deployment, the assistant answers from your SharePoint documents and cites its sources, within your own access rights: it only sees what you are already allowed to see.
Which version are you using? If a banner indicating the Freemium version appears at the top of your conversation, your organisation is using the free version. To go further, talk to your administrator.
Frequently asked questions
Are my conversations private?
Yes. Your conversations are personal to you: no other user, and no administrator, can access them from Jint AI. You can delete them at any time.
Is my data used to train the AI?
No. Your messages and the assistant's answers are never used to train AI models. Where conversations are hosted depends on the configuration your organisation has chosen; your administrator can tell you more.
I can't see Jint AI in my sidebar.
Jint AI is activated by an administrator in your organisation. Get in touch with your IT team or your intranet contact.
