Prerequisites
Before getting started, make sure you have the following:
- An Azure/Entra Administrator
- Global Administrator access to the Jint configurator — this same administrator must be able to log in at config.jint.io
Permission Approval Process
Approve the Entra permission
- Log in to the Jint configurator at config.jint.io as an Azure/Entra administrator.
- Go to the metrics dashboard: https://config.jint.io/metrics/main
- Log in again if the configurator asks you to.
- A pop-up window will appear asking you to accept the permissions.
⚠️ Important: Check the box “Grant consent on behalf of your organization” so that the permission is applied globally across the tenant. Then click Accept.
- The permission may take a few minutes to take full effect. The page will refresh automatically.
- You now have access to the new metrics dashboard.
Verify that the Permission Has Been Accepted
To confirm that the admin consent has been recorded:
- Log in to the Entra portal (entra.microsoft.com).
- Navigate to Enterprise Applications > All applications.
- Search for and select the Jint intranet application.
- Go to the Permissions tab.
- Verify that the User.Read entry is present and that the Admin Consent column shows Yes.
Grant Access to Users
Global Administrator rights on the Configurator are required to access the Metrics tab.
