Jint's service is currently Online
Ongoing Disruption:
-
2025 : Unexpected page refreshes
This is a known behavior related to an ongoing change on Microsoft’s side. Fortunately, we can provide you with a workaround.
Root Cause
Infrastructure change on Microsoft’s side – The page refresh behavior is linked to an ongoing update from Microsoft, which is modifying how SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions’ permissions are managed in Microsoft Entra ID.
Specifically, Microsoft is gradually replacing the legacy application “SharePoint Online Client Extensibility Web Application Principal” with the new “SharePoint Online Web Client Extensibility.”
This transition affects the way API permissions are handled for solutions deployed in SharePoint. In some cases, it may temporarily remove certain permissions, which can impact Jint features and cause unexpected page refreshes.
What to Check
Here are two checks that can help resolve the issue (to be performed in this order):
-
Consent to the Jint Contribution Center application
-
Go to Microsoft Entra ID (or Azure AD) > Enterprise Applications.
-
Verify if the Jint Contribution Center application is listed.
-
If not, an administrator must consent to the application by clicking this link:
→ Consent to the Mozzaik365 Contribution Center application
-
-
Approve API permissions
-
Go to SharePoint Admin Center > Advanced settings > API access.
-
Check if the Jint Contribution Center permission is pending approval.
-
If so, approve it.
-
These steps should help resolve the behavior you’re experiencing.
3. If the Contribution Center API permission does not appear, run the PowerShell script provided in the following link: Managing SharePoint Framework API Permissions with PowerShell..
- In the first line of the script
"$resourceAppIds = @("00000003-0000-0000-c000-000000000000")", replace the AppIds with the one from the Contribution Center. - You can find it in Entra ID by clicking on the Enterprise Applications tab > Jint Contribution Center > field Application ID.
Once the API permission appears in the SharePoint Admin Center, you will be able to approve it.

04/11 LinkedIn Update (NewsHub Web Part)
07/27 We are currently working on an update to the LinkedIn connection solution to drastically improve performance. We do not have a release date at this time.
04/23 All the LinkedIn feeds are now getting updates, and all are not older than 48 hours. We are still working actively on the issue with the goal to get it under 24 hours.
04/11 We are currently experiencing a significant degradation in the updating of your LinkedIn posts. Some accounts may not have been updated for two weeks. Our team is actively working to improve the situation as soon as possible.
We will continue to investigate and invest in this issue to restore the update frequency to 1 or 2 days.
Past events to report :

07/27 Page Modification: Contribution Center and Translator
08/26 Last week, we released updates that enable our features to fully support the new SharePoint page formats.
The following functionalities are now operational:
- Page and template creation in the contribution center from page templates created in this new format.
- Creation and update of page translations with Translator.
- The contribution helper web part.
The page copying feature is not yet functional with the new page formats. We are continuing to work on this issue.
07/27 SharePoint released 2 major updates for their pages:
- The page header is now a web part in the full-width section and can now be removed from your pages.
- Live co-authoring is available! You can now edit your page in real time with your colleagues.
These are great news for improving our clients' Digital Workplace.
However, this has a significant impact on Jint. All new pages created since this update last week are built differently and use new SharePoint services (API). This means that Jint functionalities that create or modify pages no longer work on the newly created pages. This includes:
- Page and template creation in the contribution center from page templates created in this new format.
- Creation and update of page translations with Translator.
- The contribution helper web part.
- The "Copy a page" feature of the Unified Experience (UEX).
Jint still works on pages built on the old page model, and you might not experience any disruption.
The Jint team is actively working to accommodate these changes and restore full functionality.

The technical team has resolved the problem by making a few changes:
- You can now add Facebook or Instagram pages again, but you can no longer choose which pages will be available in the component.
- Once the account has been added, all the pages will be available in the settings.

02/08 : Microsoft is still experiencing an issue with the retrieval of certain SharePoint data. To resolve this problem, it is recommended to contact Microsoft 365 support. Your administrators can track the progress of the issue on the following page.
02/05 : A general Microsoft issue was observed this morning. No results are returned for the person search in the Trombinoscope component if you use SharePoint search, as well as on the Profile component.

01/29 Jint Performance
01/29 : In addition, our technical team carried out an optimization of components using images on Friday, January 26.
We now utilize SharePoint's private Content Delivery Network (CDN), resulting in faster image downloads.
However, this may have a side effect on Focus and Designer components with disappearing images. To address this issue, we recommend reloading the images in the component's properties panel.
This bug is due to the component uploading images to the document library instead of the Site Assets

08/29 Background Page Modification with the Designer
09/01 The remaining problem with the background image has been corrected by our teams. Your pages should now display correctly.
Back to the incident:
The designer acts on SharePoint elements to enable you to create beautiful, engaging pages.
SharePoint updated the structure of these pages, which generated this problem and forced us to adapt.
This is the risk with these components and we try to be vigilant in correcting it as soon as possible in the event of a change from Microsoft.
09/01: The application of the background color has been corrected by our teams. We have identified a second problem when :
You apply a background image
And you define a change to the "Top" margin of a column or section
the background image is no longer displayed and the color defined in the designer is applied instead
We are working to correct this second problem
08/29 : Due to a SharePoint update, background page modifications applied by the designer are no longer being applied. Our teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

08/24 The malfunction has been largely resolved by our teams. An issue remains when you try to upload an image from the root address of a site.
Example: mycompany.sharepoint.com/mysite You can work around this issue by directly displaying the homepage from the page library to display it under the URL pagename.aspx.
08/24 We have identified a malfunction with image uploads from workstations.
Uploading an image using the "Import" option will fail.
This issue affects all image uploads carried out within jint.coponents. Images that have already been uploaded are not affected.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this disruption. Our teams are working to resolve this issue.

As this is a Twitter-related incident, we are closing this incident.
03/07 7pm The social network wall is unable to retrieve information from the Twitter social network for some of our clients.
