The Roles and permissions menu allows you to manage the people who have access to Jint Portal and the roles assigned to them.
The page displays a list of users with their name, email address, and roles. You can search for a user by name or email, modify their roles (pencil icon), or remove their access (trash can icon).
To add a user:

- search for a link or filter the list by category;
- change the order of links by drag and drop or using the arrows;
- edit or delete a link using the pencil and trash can icons.
4.1.4 Site Factory
The Site Factory menu allows you to extract a template from an existing SharePoint site and then apply it to other sites in your tenant. It is available with the Site Factory or Global administrator role.
The page has two tabs:
- Site templates: extract a template using the Extract a site button. For each template, the history displays the source site, status (for example, Ready or Failed), and date of the latest version.
- Site copy: apply a template to a target site using the Copy a site button. For each operation, the history displays the template, target site, status, and date.
For more information, see the articles Site Factory - User guide and Site Factory - Best practices and common use cases.
4.2 Teams & Web

The app package is generated on demand based on your current settings. You can then import it into the Teams admin center or upload it manually.

- Content: creation, organization, and hierarchy of the app tabs and the widgets displayed in each tab

4.3.2 Notification channels
The Notification channels menu displays the push identifiers used to send notifications from your mobile app:
- APNs (Apple Push Notification service) for iOS devices
- FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) for Android devices
You can edit or disable each channel.
⚠️ A disabled channel no longer accepts registrations or new notifications. Notifications that are already being sent are still delivered.
4.4 Newsletter
4.4.1 Custom domains
The Custom domains menu allows you to define the domain from which your newsletters are sent. Without a custom domain, newsletters are sent from jint.io: email services then display them as sent “via jint.io” and often classify them as spam.
The Sending domain section contains the following fields:
- Domain (required): your root domain, for example contoso.com
- Sending subdomain: leave blank if the sending address is on the root domain
- Domain ID at the provider (required): the ID of the domain authenticated with the email sending provider
- Sending address (required): the address displayed as the sender, which must belong to the specified domain
- Send newsletters from this domain: option to enable once the DNS records have been verified
The DNS configuration section allows you to start verifying the DNS records published for your domain using the Verify DNS configuration button. The domain must be registered before it can be verified.
⚠️ As long as the Send newsletters from this domain option is disabled, your newsletters will continue to be sent from jint.io. If the domain is enabled but its DNS records have not been verified, the newsletters are held and are not sent.
For more information, see the article Customize the sender domain for your Jint newsletters.
⚠️ This tab is only available if you have subscribed to Jint Newsletter.
4.5 AI Studio
The AI Studio menu allows you to define who is allowed to use Jint AI and who each agent and model is offered to. The page has three tabs.
Access
The Jint AI open to the entire organization option determines the access mode:
- Option enabled: Jint AI is available to everyone except members of excluded audiences. Excluded audiences are Microsoft groups added using the Add an audience button.
- Option disabled: only authorized audiences have access to Jint AI.
Agents
The Agents tab lists your organization's Jint AI agents, along with their version and the audiences to which they are offered. You can add an agent using the Add an agent button, then edit or delete each agent.
Models
The Models tab lists the available AI models, along with their deployment, publisher, and the audiences to which they are offered. You can add a model using the Add a model button, then edit or delete each model.
